Bad design and risk to get burn by hot water
you cannot pour all water into a bottle due the thickness of the black plastic edge cause the water spilled from both side of the filter and water will pour on your fingers instead of the bottle. Unless you pour the last bit of water into a bowl or sink. It is a bad design.

Looks great & does the job
It's translucent looks & the blue light gives it a nice look when boiling water. We used to have a complete metallic one. This gives a better look.

Great product with nice design but wide spout and mesh can be tricky
It’s otherwise a great product but, due perhaps to the mesh protecting the spout, tipping the water out at a certain angle will mean water trickling out along the sides of the spout. The mesh slows down the flow and the spout is a bit wide and shallow. If the receiving vessel is not so wide, like a narrow thermos, it can mean a spill. Our older Sunbeam had a sharper angle at the deeper spout so that was not so much an issue. The trick with this one is to pour slowly. The frosted glass body makes for a great design.
