Electric Cooktops
I’m not sure if the new cooktop will fit in the existing opening/cut out, will the installer alter or trim my cabinetry if required?
You will need to ensure the new cooktop fits into the existing opening/cut-out, if cabinet works are required you’ll need to have them completed prior to the installation date
I’ve always had a gas cooktop and would like to change it to an electric cooktop, will the installer complete both the required gas & electrical works?
The removal of an old gas cooktop, isolation of the existing gas supply and the running of new electrical lines are not included in the standard service, for the best result we’d recommend you book a site assessment.
I'm not sure if my existing cooktop is protected with a safety switch, will the installer install a safety switch?
This is not included as part of a standard service, if it's required your installer will inform you of the requirements and provide a quote for the additional charges prior to any works taking place.
I’ve always had a normal cooktop, I’m upgrading to an induction cooktop, is there requirements I need to be aware of?
Upgrading from a standard electric cooktop to induction requires a number of power supply upgrades, for the best result we’d recommend you book a site assessment.
Will the installer show me how the cooktop works?
The standard service includes a demonstration of the basic functions.
Is the installation covered by any warranty?
The installation works are covered with a 12 month warranty.
How long will it take for the cooktop to be installed?
Homes and requirements for each installation are different, your installer will be able to advise you on the day.
Gas Cooktops

You will need to ensure the new cooktop fits into the existing opening/cut-out, if this requires cabinet work, you will need to have the cabinet works completed prior to the cooktop being installed.

My old gas cooktop doesn’t have any electronic functions and doesn’t require a power point, if my new cooktop requires a power point will the installer install one?
The installation of a power point is not included in a standard service, this will need to be completed prior to the date of installation.
Will the installer show me how the stove works?
The standard service includes a demonstration of the basic functions.
Is the stove installation covered by any warranty?
The installation works are covered with a 5 year warranty.
