Your PC or Mac is unpacked (if new), and set up with 1 monitor connection, 1 software installation, and cables are arranged neatly. We configure an existing internet connect and existing email address and perform updates if needed. We test functionality, demonstrate basic operation, tidy the area, and obtain your sign-off on completion.

  • Unpacking and inspection of new PC or Mac to verify all included parts are accounted for

  • Setup of PC or Mac with connection to 1 monitor

  • Installation of 1 software application

  • Neat arrangement and coiling of cables

  • Configuration to existing active internet connection

  • Connection to existing email address

  • Completion of required system updates (if applicable)

  • Functionality testing to ensure correct operation

  • Basic demonstration of appliance operation

  • Tidying of work area and removal of packaging

  • Customer sign-off on satisfactory completion of installation

How to book a service

At The Good Guys Home Services, we understand the trust you’ve placed in us to provide you with high quality workmanship, and also the need to get your home installation done quickly and easily. Read our customer guide and understand how your home installation will be completed.

CUSTOMER GUIDE

You can add many of our installation services from the cart. We’ll assign your installation to our trusted professionals for completion after your product is delivered. If you need any variations in home, we can vary your scope for additional fees in home.  

You can request any of our services by completing the relevant form. We’ll then quote that service up for you and send you a link for payment to finalise your booking. 

When in store speak with our specialist about your installation needs.  Once a service is purchased, we will arrange for a professional installer to attend your home, and you will receive a booking confirmation with all the details about the service and installer attending site.
