Love the large opening of lid
The lid has a large opening, great for the kids when they fill up the kettle. Now there is no more damage done to my tap nor to the top of kettle. Boils quickly,looks great easy to handle. The water level is a bit hard to see, we overcome that by checking inside every time before turning on.It is not quiet kettle, bit on the loud side.

Recent purchase so not sure about longevity of product as yet. Nice classic design. Matches toaster purchased with it. Pricey for a kettle therefore 4 stars. The kettle finishes boiling and makes a ring sound which is handy.
