Best Kettle!
I have bought many kettles over the years but this is by far the best I owned. The entire internal of the kettle is metal no plastic which makes me feel safe boiling water and not having any contaminants or plastic in my water. Design looks great and works efficiently. Very happy with purchase.

This is a great kettle, all metal inside, no plastic parts with the boiling water. The only drawback is the lid does not open fully by itself, only partway, you have to push it back further to get it under the tap to fill it.

Fast & Quiet
Most metal kettles are loud as they warm and reach boiling point. Not the Philips. The double skin design seems to muffle the sound and reduce disturbance. In addition, the kettle is fast at heating. But the best reason to buy this kettle is that no plastic part is in contact with the water. This minimises the risk of micro-plastic contamination, from which most other kettles suffer. Great design, Philips.
