Replacing a Russell Hobbs with may buttons for different tea temperatures. This Phillips is very handsome, cool To touch, fast, not too noisy boiling, has subtle beeping noises, love the colour, it’s got a bit of weight to it but not anything that’s an issue. Love it, no regrets

I recently purchased and tried the Philips 7000 Series Kettle, and it performs well for daily use. It heats water quickly and offers several temperature settings, which helps when you want water for tea or baby bottles. The double-walled design keeps the outside cool, so it feels safer to handle. The stainless steel interior is easy to clean and gives the kettle a solid feel. I also found the keep-warm function handy because it holds the water at the level you choose without constant reboiling. There are a few things to note. The pour can feel a bit slow, and the lid doesn’t always open as widely as expected. Some users report small leaks from the lid if you tilt it too far, so you need to pour at a steady angle. Overall, it’s a good choice if you want a kettle with accurate temperature control and a safe, sturdy design. It suits families and anyone who enjoys making tea at the right temperature.

I’ve been really impressed with the Philips 7000 kettle. It boils a good amount of water in less time than most kettles I’ve used. The temperature control is a game-changer—perfect for getting the right heat for green tea, herbal blends, or just a cooler cup.

This kettle doesn’t boil up to 100 degrees automatically. It’s a hit and miss. It will stop at 30 degrees, then u press again, then it will boil to 50 degrees and so on. U need to watch it like a hulk. It went to the bin

I bought the kettle as a replacement, as my old kitchen aid full steel kettle stopped working after 10 years. Sadly kitchen aid no longer has full steel option, so I found this Philips 7000 kettle which is 99% steel inside, except for a small hole. I find it to be effective heating water. As i tested, with maximum water level it takes 4.5 mins to heat it up to 100 degree, and minimum water 2.5 mins. I don’t use the temperature control often, but it is useful when making certain tea at a specific temperature. The only downside is the lid open button is not always working. Overall I’m very happy with the product. It’s very hard to find full steel kettle today.
