It does what it's supposed to do.
This washing machine does what it's supposed to do, it cleans clothes and it does it well. I purchased this particular one because it's one of very few that still has a hot water inlet. So LG, do not follow other manufacturers as you have that corner of the market captured. As far as I can make out the AI has simply replaced the half load button but will be an expensive fix if it goes wrong. I tried to download the ThinQ app but gave up after an hour. My son then tried for a further 45 mins before giving up. The app wouldn't add my washing machine but it picked up my next door neighbours LG washing machine. As I can't use the app a 'Wrinkle Free' button would be useful to keep the drum turning after the programme has ended, without it my washing is badly creased. Lastly, it's creative to advertise as a 10kg washing machine when it's only cotton and cotton eco where 10kgs applies, the majority of programmes are 5kgs or under. I am happy enough with my new washing machine but when it comes to mixing it with new tech the old adage should apply i.e. 'If it isn't broke, don't fix it'. I've never had a problem with a button but I've had a costly problem with a motherboard.

Powerful and feature-rich, but needs careful setup
This LG 10kg WV5-1410W front loader delivers on capacity, efficiency, and smart fabric care — the steam and 6-motion features are particularly nice. But I've had to take extra care with balancing loads to reduce vibration, and cycle times are longer than my old washer. Overall a strong pick if you're willing to trade some simplicity for high features.
