good news and bad news
The washer is great, however we had a small problem with it and dealing with LG customer service was an absolute nightmare. I gave up on them after a week of trying to get something done and went back to the Good Guys to get my money back, but they solved the issue. Their communication was great, what they said they would do happened, the tech turned up and sorted the issue. If you have any problem with a purchase don't even go to LG customer service, just deal with the Good Guys direct. Still waiting for LG customer service to get back to me.

Prince from good guys highly recommend this model for long lasting. i saw a lot of reviews saying this machine is very quiet, so i have a high expectation on it. turn out it is not as quiet as i expect, especially spinning and water flowing time. the size is decent for the small laundry in my apartment, but i still couldn't close the door. cant block the noise while im working from home. will continue to observe the quality...

I’m really happy with this new washing machine. It’s the first time I’ve ever had a front loader. The only thing I have to complain about is the long washing cycles and how I can’t just add extra washing if I forget to put something in before I start the machine.

Unnecessarily complex
Our last very similar LG washer had 13 cycles on the machine. It lasted 10 years. This one has 12 cycles onboard, most of which will go unused, while it has multiple extra useful cycles which you have to download to use - but only one each time you need it. They do not stay on the machine. And you need to connect the machine to your wifi network and use an app to download them. The extra cycles include ‘towels’, ‘sheets’ and ‘rinse & spin’ - possibly the most used/useful cycles. A truly stupid setup. My coffee machine has more choices than my washer - so why LG can’t you simply put them ALL onboard the washer with a simple menu? The instruction booklet and LG support are totally useless. I got help via google. The door latch is flimsy now and doesn’t shut very well. The start buttons and process are not great either. It seems to wash well enough and if it lasts as long as the old one, great. But LG have let themselves and their customers down for the sake of having a trendy app. The Good Guys who sold the washer were fantastic in trying to get LG support. Thanks Kylie at Warners Bay!
