At a glance
The ASKO 11kg Logic Front Load Washer is a premium large-capacity washer built for families, frequent washing and bulky items like bedding or towels. Its strengths are the generous drum size, 20 programs, Wi-Fi app control, low-vibration Quattro Construction and hygienic Steel Seal design. A fair limitation is that its large size comes with 90L per wash and may be more washer than smaller households need.

Things to consider
Its 11kg capacity is excellent for large loads, but smaller households may not need the extra drum space and some alternatives can use less water per cycle than this model’s 90L.
Fabric care suitability score
8/10 - Strong program selection including wool, delicates and steam refresh makes it versatile for mixed fabric care.
Water efficiency rating
4.5 star WELS, 90L per wash
Family laundry fit
Excellent for large households, bulky bedding and high-volume weekly washing
Noise level vs category average
7/10 - Quattro Construction is designed to reduce vibration, suggesting smoother operation than many standard front loaders.
Allergy suitability
7/10 - Steam refresh and the Steel Seal design can help support fresher, more hygienic washing, though it is not presented as a specialist allergy-focused washer.
Key benefits
- 11kg Capacity: Handles family-sized loads, bulky bedding and towels in fewer cycles.
- 20 Wash Programs: Gives you dedicated options for wool, delicates, steam refresh and quick washes.
- ConnectLife Wi-Fi Control: Lets you select cycles and download extra programs from the app for added flexibility.
- Quattro Construction: Helps reduce vibration for steadier operation during wash cycles.
- Steel Seal Design: Replaces the usual rubber door gasket to help minimise trapped moisture and odours.
- Left-Hinged Easy Close Door: Makes loading and unloading larger laundry items more straightforward.
- 4.5 Star Energy Rating: Delivers solid energy performance for a large 11kg washer, with estimated annual energy use of 353kWh.
- Safety Functions: Includes a two-step start system, child lock and overflow protection for extra peace of mind.
Q: Do I need the app to access all wash programs?
A: No. ASKO W3114CXLW.AU can run its standard wash programs from the onboard controls, so Wi-Fi is not required for everyday washing. The ConnectLife app is mainly useful if you want remote cycle selection or to download extra programs.
Q: Will the left-hinged door work in a tight laundry space?
A: It depends on the clearance to the left of the machine. ASKO W3114CXLW.AU has a left-hinged door with an easy close design, so loading is straightforward, but the door swing can limit placement beside a wall or cabinet.
Q: Can this washer handle bulky bedding and towel loads?
A: Yes. ASKO W3114CXLW.AU has an 11kg drum, which suits larger bedding and towel loads in fewer cycles than a smaller washer. It is still best not to pack the drum tightly, especially when washing thick or absorbent items.
Q: How does the Steel Seal design help with washer odours?
A: ASKO W3114CXLW.AU uses a Steel Seal instead of the usual rubber door gasket. That design leaves fewer folds for moisture and residue to sit in, which can make the door area easier to keep fresh between washes.
Q: Is this model a quiet choice for upstairs laundries?
A: ASKO W3114CXLW.AU is designed to reduce vibration through Quattro Construction, which can help it feel steadier during use. It is a sensible fit where movement matters, though load balance still affects how smooth each spin cycle feels.
Q: Does it include a dedicated hygiene or allergy wash cycle?
A: No. ASKO W3114CXLW.AU includes steam refresh and a hygienic door seal design, but a dedicated allergy-certified or named hygiene wash cycle is not part of its listed programs. Buyers wanting that exact program type may prefer a different feature set.
Q: Are there quick cycles for small everyday laundry loads?
A: Yes. ASKO W3114CXLW.AU includes quick pro cycles for lighter day-to-day washing when a full standard program is not necessary. It is better suited to smaller or less soiled loads than heavily soiled items that need a longer wash.
