I was very surprised by the powerful suction and the tangle free brush roll! Excellent machine and cleans my area rugs and carpets perfectly. Would definitely recommend, love Bissell!

I bought this to remove the pet hair on my carpet from my Jack Russell, which is a lot. This Vac has cleaned it up better than anything I have ever had before.

Makes vacuuming enjoyable
I can't rave enough! Had another well known brand for 8 years and didn't realise how crap it was ! I have a long hair dog and it's a nightmare, but this vacuum doesn't get hair tangled around it's roller brush as it is specially designed. My last vacuum I had to stop half way through and cut off the tangled hair! It is stronger suction,especially on carpet. Even the lights are a brilliant help to see stuff you wouldn't normally. I am thrilled with my purchase.

Effective
I like that the vacuum does pick up a lot of pet hair. It seems powerful, which can be adjusted. I haven't tried it as a hand vac yet though to know how it performs in that version. The only negative is that it is a bit heavy for a stick vac, but if it does what it's supposed to do, then I'm ok with that.

Not Happy
After the second time using the vacuum and emptying the container of dirt and dust, the eject button was stuck and as a result I couldnt fit the cylinder back on. Good Guys have replaced it, but because the vacuum is ordered online and not stocked in their store I have a wait for the replacement to arrive. Hopefully the replacement will be ok.

Pretty happy so far
The vacuum is more solid than cheaper models and feels as if it's well designed. I haven't tried the hand-held version yet. I am mostly happy with it but it doesn't pick up as much fine cat hair as I was hoping.
