Quite good
- I personally do not like the motor ect being up near my hand I feel it weights too much and would prefer the weight be down the bottom of the handle near the floor - makes it easier to manoeuvre and less stress on the arm - it also doesn’t stand on its own and the charger base has to be attached to a wall it cannot just be freestanding Otherwise it works really well suction wise

Good stick vacuum
This product works well in tiled floor. Had a good battery life. My only issue is it has to be attached to a wall to charge

At a glance
The LG CordZero A9L-PRIME is a cordless stick vacuum built for everyday cleaning across hard floors, tiles and carpets. It suits households wanting easy manoeuvrability, wall-mounted charging and filtration support for dust and allergens, including pet-friendly homes. Key strengths are its up to 60-minute run time, useful included tools and compact bagless design. Its main limitation is the relatively small 0.4L standard bin.
What it’s great for
- Everyday Household Cleaning
- Mixed-Surface Cleaning
- Pet Hair Pickups
- Quick Room-to-Room Cleaning
- Apartment and Family Home Maintenance
Where it works best
- Homes with Hard Floors
- Homes with Tiles
- Mixed-Floor Households
- Pet-Friendly Homes
- Apartments and Townhouses
Who it’s for
- Busy Households
- Pet Owners
- Apartment Dwellers
- Families
- Shoppers Wanting a Cordless Everyday Vacuum
Things to consider
The 0.4L standard bin is smaller than some premium stick vacuums, so it may need more frequent emptying during larger whole-home cleans despite the compressible capacity.
Pet hair performance score
8/10 - Pet-friendly design and included floor tools make it well suited to routine pet hair pickup on mixed household surfaces.
Carpet vs hard floor suitability
Well suited to hard floors, tiles and everyday carpet cleaning in mixed-surface homes.
Portability rating
9/10 - Cordless, lightweight and wall-mountable, making it easy to carry, store and use around the home.
Noise level vs category average
6/10 - At 82 dBA, it is on the louder side for a stick vacuum rather than especially quiet.
Allergy friendliness
7/10 - The 5-step filtration system helps capture dust and allergens, though it is not presented as a specialist sealed allergy system.
Key benefits
- Cordless Design: Makes it easier to move between rooms and clean around furniture without managing a power cord.
- Up to 60-Minute Run Time: Supports longer routine cleaning sessions on a full charge before needing to recharge.
- 5-Step Filtration System: Helps capture dust and allergens for cleaner air during everyday vacuuming.
- Dual Nozzle with LED Lighting: Helps reveal dust and debris in darker areas and along edges while cleaning.
- Wall-Mount Charger: Keeps the vacuum stored neatly and charged in a convenient ready-to-use position.
- Bagless 0.4L Bin: Simplifies everyday emptying without needing replacement vacuum bags.
- Compressible Bin Capacity up to 1L: Lets you fit more debris for longer cleaning between empties when using the compression function.
- Included Combination and Crevice Tools: Makes it easier to clean corners, edges and tighter spaces around the home.
Q: Does the LG CordZero A9L-PRIME need to be wall mounted to charge?
A: No. The A9L-PRIME includes a wall-mount charger and is designed to store and charge on that mount. A freestanding floor stand is not included in the box, so buyers wanting stand-style storage would need a different solution.
Q: Can this stick vacuum stand upright on its own between rooms?
A: No. This model is wall mountable for storage and charging, rather than self-standing during use. If you pause mid-clean, it will usually need to be laid down or returned to the wall mount instead of parked upright.
Q: Is it suitable for deep carpet cleaning or mainly everyday maintenance?
A: LG CordZero A9L-PRIME is best suited to routine cleaning on hard floors, tiles and carpets in mixed-surface homes. It can handle everyday carpet maintenance, but it is positioned more for regular pickup than heavy-duty deep cleaning.
Q: How often will the dust bin need emptying in a larger home?
A: The A9L-PRIME has a 0.4L standard bin, which suits routine debris rather than long, heavy cleans. It can be compressed to hold up to 1L during use, but larger homes may still need more frequent emptying than bigger stick vacuums.
Q: Is the LED floor head useful under furniture and along edges?
A: Yes. The dual nozzle has LED lighting, which helps show dust in dim spots such as under furniture and along room edges. It improves visibility, but lighting does not change the nozzle shape, so very tight edge pickup can still vary.
Q: How many batteries come with the LG CordZero A9L-PRIME?
A: The A9L-PRIME includes 1 rechargeable battery. Charging takes up to 4 hours, so if you want longer back-to-back cleaning without waiting, this package does not include a second battery ready to swap in.
