Love the shark
We have found the Shark to be much more reliable than our previous brand. The auto adjustable speed based.on surface, auto empty function, solit handle for under sofas etc are all great features.

Excellent
Great product, Little expensive but better than other famous brand such as Dyson. Does the job, Bending of the vacuum is a significant feature in this vacuum. Teenagers love this and always want to vacuum the house. A wise decision i made.

This machine is great!
I’ve tried a few stick vacuums before this one, but I have found this has the best suction by far. I love that it automatically adapts to different floor types, making it really easy to use throughout the house. It’s perfect for quick everyday cleans, especially for picking up all the dog hair, but it’s also more than capable of doing a more thorough clean when needed. The auto-empty feature is fantastic and makes cleaning up so much easier. I also really like the odour-eliminating puck, which helps keep the vacuum smelling fresh. Overall, I’m really impressed with it and would definitely recommend it, especially if you have pets! 🐶🧹

The bees knees in vacuums but is quite heavy
This vacuum is amazing and has great features including the clean and empty function and battery power. I was surprised though how heavy the unit is which might be difficult for some older generations. Overall very happy I invested in a decent vacuum that identifies different floor surfaces and adjusts automatically.

Key benefits
- Up to 70 minutes runtime: supports longer cleaning sessions before needing a recharge.
- Clean and Empty Station: automatically empties the vacuum to reduce direct contact with dust.
- DuoClean Detect nozzle: helps pick up debris on both forward and reverse passes for more thorough everyday cleaning.
- Bagless design: avoids ongoing bag replacements and makes bin maintenance simpler.
- HEPA filtration: helps capture fine dust for a cleaner exhaust airflow.
- Pet tool included: makes it easier to lift pet hair from furniture and other problem areas.
- 3.6 kg body: light enough for easier manoeuvring during regular whole-home cleaning.
- Crevice tool included: reaches tighter spaces along edges, corners and between furniture.
Q: Can this replace a corded vacuum for regular whole-home cleaning
A: Shark IP3251ANZ suits many regular whole-home cleans across carpet and hard floors, and the station empties it after use. It is less suited to very thick, high-pile carpet or jobs that need maximum power for long periods.
Q: Will the Clean and Empty station remove all dust handling
A: No. The station empties the vacuum automatically after cleaning, so day-to-day bin emptying is more hands-off. The vacuum is still bagless, so the dust cup and filters need periodic cleaning, with some direct dust contact.
Q: Does it need wall mounting or a permanent dock space
A: It does not use a wall mount. Shark IP3251ANZ charges and empties through its station, so it needs a dedicated floor or bench spot rather than hanging storage, which is worth planning for if space is limited.
Q: How suitable is it for pet hair on stairs and sofas
A: It is well suited to pet hair on floors, stairs and upholstery because it includes a pet tool and a crevice tool for tighter areas. The 3.6kg body stays manageable for everyday use, but longer overhead cleaning can feel heavier.
Q: Can the Shark PowerDetect vacuum pick up wet spills too
A: No. Shark IP3251ANZ is a dry vacuum for dust, debris and pet hair on hard floors and carpet. Wet spills should be cleaned with a suitable wet-cleaning product instead, as moisture can affect the bin, filters and internal parts.
Q: Is this a good choice for thick high-pile carpet
A: It is a stronger fit for hard floors and standard carpet than very thick, high-pile carpet. The PowerDetect system adjusts across mixed surfaces, but dense plush carpet can still feel more demanding than typical household flooring.
