Shark Never Disappoints.
I purchased the Shark PowerDetect after the untimely demise of my beloved Shark Stratos. Cause of death? A teenager vacuuming, if you can believe that. As with every Shark product I’ve owned, I had high expectations. Somehow, this vacuum still managed to exceed them. The suction is phenomenal. It glides across every surface in my house and gets impressively close to walls and edges without leaving that annoying strip of dust behind. Its performance is so good that it honestly feels like the vacuum is guiding you rather than the other way around. The automatic debris detection is brilliant too. It senses dirtier areas and adjusts the suction power accordingly, which helps extend the battery life while still giving heavily soiled areas the attention they need. Then there’s my favourite feature: it cleans its own debris tank. Whoever came up with that deserves a pay rise. Emptying the main bin is ridiculously easy as well. The bending wand is another feature I love, and somehow it’s even better than the one on the Stratos. Honestly, this vacuum is outstanding. It’s powerful, clever, easy to maintain, and somehow makes vacuuming feel less like a chore. Expensive? Maybe. Worth every cent? Absolutely.

Replaced Dyson v16 as it kept breaking down, Dyson provided a full refund and needed a new vacuum, purchased this and haven’t looked back. Highly recommend
