We've had the Shark PowerPro Cordless Vacuum for a few weeks now and we highly rate it. It automatically switches between hard floor and carpet surfaces adjusting the suction accordingly, and it is easy to empty, and quick to charge. My only concern is that because it is top heavy someone who doesn't know it as well as us might use it, and then try to leave it standing in an upright position, at which point it would come crashing to the floor and possibly be damaged. Other than that concern it's fantastic.
