Does a fantastic job !
We bought the shark cordless vacuum for the house for a quick clean up when we didn’t need to drag out the corded vacuum. We were blown away at how powerful it is ! I’ve used other well known brands , and this wins hands down on not just the sucking power, but how easy it is to manoeuvre around the furniture. I use this in every room in the house.

Easy to use.
I bought the previous model for my daughter which is great. I went to get the same model but they didn't have any in stock so I bought the shark power pro cordless vacuum. It is great to use and is push button start which is easier than the previous model where you have to push the switch to change settings..It goes from floor to carpet settings without having to change anything .It also has a hook where you can store the cannister for easy storage.I did notice that all of the packaging was cardboard or paper no plastic.

Best stick vac
The shark PowerPro cordless vac is the best stick vac I have ever brought. The suction is amazing, it lifts so much dirt out of your carpet. Easy to use and the unit is easy to clean. The light on the power head is a great feature, it is bright and shows up the dirt well.

At a glance
The Shark PowerPro Cordless Vacuum is a lightweight stick vacuum built for quick daily cleans and flexible whole-home use. It suits busy households, pet owners and allergy sufferers with strong hair pickup, HEPA filtration and a detachable handheld. Up to 50 minutes runtime is practical for most homes, but it may not match premium corded vacuums for sustained deep-cleaning power on large carpeted areas.

Things to consider
While versatile and convenient, it is still a cordless stick vacuum, so buyers wanting the strongest sustained suction for large carpeted homes may prefer a premium corded or specialist deep-cleaning model.
Pet hair performance score
9/10 - self-cleaning brush-roll and strong pet-hair focus make it very capable for homes with shedding pets.
Carpet vs hard floor suitability
Well suited to both carpet and hard floors, with automatic floor detection helping it adapt across mixed-surface homes.
Portability rating
9/10 - cordless, ultra-lightweight and convertible to a handheld for easy carrying and above-floor cleaning.
Noise level vs category average
About average for a cordless stick vacuum
Allergy friendliness
9/10 - HEPA filtration plus a sealed system make it a strong option for reducing airborne dust and allergens.
Key benefits
- Up to 50 minutes runtime: Gives enough cordless cleaning time for most routine whole-home cleans on a single charge.
- Self-cleaning brush-roll: Actively removes hair as you clean so you spend less time cutting away tangles.
- HEPA filtration: Captures over 99.97% of dust and allergens to help keep them out of the air.
- Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology: Helps trap fine dust and allergens inside the vacuum instead of releasing them back into the room.
- FloorDetect technology: Automatically adjusts brush-roll speed to suit different floor types without changing nozzles.
- Detachable handheld design: Makes it easier to clean furniture, stairs, tight spaces and the car.
- LED headlights: Improves visibility in dark corners and under furniture so fine dust is easier to spot.
- Removable battery: Lets you charge the battery separately from the vacuum for more flexible storage and charging.
Q: Does the Shark PowerPro IZ373HANZ adjust automatically between hard floors and carpet?
A: Yes. FloorDetect technology senses the floor type and automatically changes brush-roll speed for better pickup on both hard floors and carpet. That means fewer manual changes during whole-home cleaning and no nozzle swapping between rooms.
Q: Is the Shark PowerPro IZ373HANZ a good option for homes with pets?
A: Yes. This model uses a self-cleaning brush-roll that actively removes hair while you vacuum, which helps reduce tangles during pet hair pickup. It is designed for both carpet and hard floors, so it suits mixed-surface homes with shedding pets.
Q: What does the 50 minute battery figure mean in real use for the Shark PowerPro IZ373HANZ?
A: The 50 minute figure is a best-case runtime and usually applies in lighter cleaning conditions, such as lower-power use or handheld tasks. Expect less time for heavier floor cleaning, especially on carpet or when using stronger suction settings.
Q: Can the Shark PowerPro IZ373HANZ be used for stairs, furniture and car cleaning?
A: Yes. The main unit converts to a detachable handheld, so it is better suited to stairs, upholstery, tight crevices and car interiors than a floor-only stick vacuum. The LED headlights also help when cleaning darker spots under seats or furniture.
Q: Why would someone choose the Shark PowerPro IZ373HANZ over a cordless vacuum with a fixed battery?
A: A removable battery is more flexible because it can be charged separately from the vacuum, which is useful if storage is away from a power point. It also makes long-term battery replacement simpler than on cordless models with sealed battery designs.
