You get what you pay for
Dyson has always come up trumps for me. A friend of mine bought a cheap Chinese Dyson copy cordless and said the product is great. I thought $150 per unit, I could buy 4 units over 10 years for the price of one Dyson. So I bought one and it failed within two days. Learnt my lesson. Went straight to Good Guys and bought my new Dyson unit.

Good for long hair
Good suction. Easy to maneuver. Long hair doesn't get stuck in the head. Would be good if it came with some extra attachments. Battery life pretty good but if you have a large house you might need to recharge midway through. Love the easy emptying.

Great for cleaning up quick messes
This is my second Dyson stick. Its rotary head is great for hard floor and carpet. The light on the front shows up all the dust. I was horrified at first. So far I’m happy with my purchase.

Reliable and useful
We like the vacuum, as it is useful and handy. Our 7 year old can use it after dinner, so very useful and light weight that is easy to handle and maneuver. It also has a power boost to give it more suction b, however we would have preferred it to have some more power and suction. Nevertheless, we won't be able to use it for a deep clean but good for every day clean up.
