Truely love this vacuum. I got it as a replacement to my shark vacuum that didn't even last it's warranty period. I spent a week looking and researching and this miele cat and dog vacuum kept popping Up. As a household with kids and long haired cats this vacuum beats my old shark vac by a mile. Picks up so much fur. However the bags don't last as long as stated. I vacuum every 2 days and the bag lasted less than a month before needing to be changed. Other than that 100% love my purchase

This vacuum works very well on floors and carpets alike. We do not have a pet so I cannot comment on that.

Outstanding quality and performance.
- Good suction to pick up pet hair, dirt and to clean along edges and corners. - extensive range of well made tools with on-board storage but would suggest the automatic inclusion of a soft floor ( wooden floor) cleaner and not as an optional extra. - the throw away bag is easy to place in the machine and when full can be quickly taken out and thrown in the bin. - the on/off switch, cord retraction and different power selections can easily operated by use of the foot only. -easy to assemble and various parts, hose and tools are easy to click into place to use and just as easy to take apart and pack away. - HEPA filter to further make sure the returning air is clean. - noise is 71dB which is a little louder than normal conversational noise. - being a bagged vacuum cleaner with good fitting parts no hair or dirt escapes. - bags and filters will be a little more expensive than normal to replace.
