The vacuum works well . Suction was strong but with supplied floor device tends to lift carpets and mats off the floor. A big drawback is the lack of a hard Floor device. I had to make my own adaptor including another supplier's part to fit the hard floor unit from my old vacuum.

Big Ball, big Power and Big suction
I've had Dyson stick vacs for years. What I didn't like about them was that the batteries always ended up dying. I love this new corded one. There are no dying batteries and this thing has serious sucking power. Much more than than the cordless ones. I'd recommend this over a stick anyway.
