  Best vacuum yet

  I absolutely love this vacuum and it almost makes me want to vacuum every day… almost 😅 The only thing I would change design wise is that it has two handles with one being to remove the dirt collecting drum. I often go to pick it up with that handle and it comes off. All in all a great vacuum.

  Great little vacuum

  This is a really neat and compact vacuum. Easy to manoeuvre around the house and does a great job. The universal floor head is good, certainly for hard surfaces, but less so for carpet. Luckily the turbo brush head comes with this model and is far better for carpets. Unfortunately, this means changing heads between surfaces, but that is a minor inconvenience. Comes with all the accessories you'd expect and a little holder for them all. The holder can clip on to the handle, but this feels a little clumsy and, in the way, so just leave it separate. I wouldn't pay full retail price for this, but if you can get it with a good discount, then it is a worthwhile purchase.

  A decent vacuum cleaner but does have a few design issues

  We bought a Millais to replace our Dyson,We’ve only had our Mele vacuum cleaner for a few weeks, but overall it is a good unit with strong suction. It does fill up quite quickly and needs to be emptied often. The attachments seem to be placed on the hose which is inconvenient and doesn’t make a lot of sense getting in the way when you’re trying to manoeuvre your vacuum cleaner. This means we need to carry attachments around with us separately.. it is also hard to push on the carpet. I’m not sure whether this is because the suction is strong or if it is the motorised head cleaning hair out of the motorised head is frustrating as you need to unscrew the motorise head to get in to the rotational brushes to untangle hair and other things to clean it. I feel the Dyson has the attachments placement in a better spot and you can easily pull apart the motorised head for cleaning. It also has a larger barrel which only needs emptying less often than this vacuum does.
