Fragile!
BEWARE! You would think these would be made from toughened glass... it's not! I had a drinking glass fall onto the cooktop and shatter the cooking surface - the drinking glass itself didn't break! The glass cooktop is apparently not repairable so I had to throw the whole unit in the bin and pay $1200 for a new one.. not cool. Otherwise, it works as expected although the temp controls can be hard to select at times as the numbers are so close together.
