I love the instantaneous speed of heat yet the safety of a cool top & the simplicity of cleaning. This model has all the extras that top brands offer, for a fraction of the price! Both of us preferred gas, had almost always had gas cooktops in our 70+ years. Both of us are now, absolute converts!
