DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Extremely unhappy with this induction cooktop. Despite looking great and matching well my kitchen aesthetic, no matter what setting you put it on, it makes a zapping noise every few seconds (the higher the setting, the more often the noise) and it’s annoying the hell out of me. The first time I contacted customer service over the phone, I was told perhaps it was the shape of the pot I was using (as per instruction manual), so I got a different brand one but still with the same result. I wish I knew about the noise before I spent my hard earned money, and I’m particularly annoyed as the noise it makes isn’t stated anywhere on the manual. I sent HAIER an email last Tuesday with a video of the noise, and a week later I still haven’t heard back. Will not purchase HAIER products in the future. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
