Lighter weight and powerful
We've had it now for 3 weeks. We previously had a Miele cat and dog bagless. This Electrolux unit is lighter to take upstairs (and around downstairs) and has good suction control. It doesn't have as many separate tools as the Miele had and has a marginally smaller bin, but that's been ok for us. It also doesn't have an auto return power chord like the Miele. The Electrolux's button has to be held in to retract it. We are a family if 4 adults with two dogs. The Electrolux seems to be fit for purpose so far. FYI - the Miele still works well but it's so heavy and the arms and joints keep breaking .
