Its multi-surface formula is easy to apply and works well on both carpets and hard floors. Q: Which Shark HydroVac models is this cleaner compatible with?
A: This cleaner is listed for Shark HydroVac models WD100, WD101, WD200, WD201, WD201QAQ, WD201QGY and WD210. It is not listed for other Shark cleaners, spray mops or non-Shark wet vacs, so do not assume broader compatibility.
Q: Can this be used on unsealed timber or stone floors?
A: No. This formula is intended for sealed hard floors and area rugs, so unsealed timber, unsealed stone and other porous surfaces are not the right match. On those surfaces, liquid can soak in instead of cleaning evenly through the machine.
Q: Do you apply the cleaner to the floor or machine?
A: Use it through a compatible Shark HydroVac machine, not as a direct pour onto the floor. The formula is made for machine delivery on sealed hard floors and area rugs, which gives more controlled coverage than hand application.
Q: Can I use this solution in another brand wet vac?
A: No. Compatibility is only listed for selected Shark HydroVac cleaners, so cross-brand use should not be assumed. Other wet vacs can dose solution differently, which may affect cleaning performance or leave unwanted residue on the floor.
Q: Is this a spot stain remover or a machine cleaning solution?
A: It is a machine cleaning solution, not a hand-applied spot treatment. Shark HydroVac Multi Surface Cleaner 1L is designed to run through compatible HydroVac cleaners on sealed hard floors and area rugs rather than being dabbed onto one mark.
Q: Will this help with pet odours on floors and rugs?
A: Yes. Shark HydroVac Multi Surface Cleaner 1L uses odour neutraliser technology to tackle smells on floors and area rugs, including common pet odours. It is intended for routine cleaning and refreshment, not as a direct treatment for one isolated stain.
