  A Good One

  Map the house very well, and find the way to the assigned cleaning area and return. Good vacuum on strong selection. Mop also good but won’t identify the dried stains as it may need a couple of run to clean. Also struggle with small floor mats but virtual wall solved that issue as it avoids

  Ecovac DEEBOT T50 MAX PRO OMNI Robotic Vacuum & Mop

  This sturdy little robot is a game-changer for us in our busy lives. I have watched older machines in other homes and thought they had too many limitations. However, after seeing this one in operation at a couple of other places, I hoped it would be ok for us. It's better than ok, its awesome! We live in a 100 year old home with different types of timber and tile flooring, mats, rugs and carpet, all with joining strips and even anti-trip ramps. We have never had such shiny, soft floors. We no longer look at the spiders and webs and dust bunnies under beds, tables and chairs! The robot gets it all. It initially did a scan of the house, then we set a couple of virtual boundaries, like the fireplace hearth (possible hot coals) and back door step (when the door is open). We set a time for it to start and have a multitude of other options to choose from. We can watch it in progress via wifi, from wherever and see what it has done and where it is, either via the app or by using its built in camera. It even washes my bathroom and shower recess floor and around the base of the loo. The unit comes with its own detergent, mops, bags etc. It empties and cleans itself and goes back to base to recharge and clean mops. We use ours every day. Of course there is some general maintenance, like emptying dirty water and refilling the clean water containers and giving it a wipe over once a month or so, to keep it operating at 100%. It would be even better if it dusted the skirting boards! Also keep your electronic charging cables off the floor.

  Amazing robot which keeps the house clean and floors shiny

  Got this robot about a month ago and I am very happy with its cleaning capability. App: The app is very well built and it allows for a lot of customisations. Helps create no go areas, virtual boundaries, vaccum only areas and a lot more. Robot Station: The station pretty much takes care of itself by emptying the dust container within robot into its vaccum bag and also washing the mop pads during its run. Also it dries the robot after mopping session which keeps the robot not smelling. It requires very minimal involvement, just filling up clean water, emptying dirty water container and cleaning the parts which cleans mop pads maybe once a week. Robot: Very capable robot. It can mop while vaccuming. Its side brush and mop pads also extends to reach the corners which I have never seen before. The navigation of this robot is also good but it struggles in avoiding cables so make sure to pick it up from the floor otherwise you will definitely see the cable’s internal wires being exposed. The cleaning capability is also very good where it can boost suction when it detects carpet. Overall very happy with the product, will recommend it to anyone who wants to wake up to a clean house every morning.

  Some good some not so good

  Having already had an ecovac previously I was excited for the new technology. We have a medium sized house with carpet, tile and vinyl planks. The battery life is not as good as I'd hoped. It always needs to go back for a recharge during the clean at least once (sometimes twice) when on standard vacuum suction and washing cycle. There are more parts that need replacing than our previous model. I'm sorry now I bought this unit and wish I'd gone with a vacuum only model as I find the washing function slow but it is effective. I could whip round with a mop in a 1/10 of the time the bot takes. I'm not sure the vacuum is very effective on carpet on standard suction. If you use the high suction the battery life is about 20 minutes then back to recharge and recharge takes some time. It can end up taking nearly all day to finish the task. My old unit managed it in less than 2 hours. Overall I'm a little underwhelmed but it will have to do for the next few years now.

  work less, save time

  i hated coming home to a house and finding my dogs moulting had left a mess of hair everywhere, especially in the bedrooms. The T50 saved my sanity. only having a few rugs in the house wasn't an issue, it still navigated its way around and cleaned up, sometimes cleaning up after my children. Norbot (my youngest's name choice) felt inspired to pick up after herself in her bedroom to help the vacuum out.. luv it
