  For an older model its pretty good!

  I love this vacuum as it picks up rather well and when on the higher speed its a dream! SO easy and quicker to do a general household vacuum with this Dyson. The only drawback is that the highspeed setting only last for about 10 minutes or so - so use the higher speeed setting sparingly. But the normal speed suction is not bad and should last for a while.

  The product is great but get it instore - do not get it delivered. The courier company left it leaning against a tree beside the road. I can’t see the road from my house so didn’t know it was up there but since it says Dyson in giant letters, everyone walking or driving by knew there was an expensive parcel just chilling by the side of the road.

  Extremely Poor Customer Service & Accountability The Good Guys East Maitland

  Very disappointing and frustrating experience. This store has a pattern of taking orders aggressively during special sales (Black Friday, Boxing Day, etc.) but fails to provide any realistic ETA once payment is made. After waiting 2–3 weeks, customers are casually told “the supplier is not providing it” — as if the store has no responsibility at all after taking your money. I personally spent 2–3 hours in-store trying to get clarity, only to be met with vague answers and zero ownership. The most frustrating part is the attitude: Managers do not want to engage with customers There is no escalation path offered Simply informing the customer of failure is treated as “professional work” That is not professionalism — that is washing hands of responsibility. If a retailer accepts payment, it is their responsibility to manage suppliers, set honest expectations, and communicate proactively. Blaming suppliers weeks later is unacceptable and misleading. After checking online reviews, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident. Many customers report the same cycle: Sale → Payment → Silence → Excuses → No accountability I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing during promotions from this store. If you value transparency, respect for your time, and basic customer service — look elsewhere.

  Have a heavier vacuum but needed one that is light and can be used every day without breaking the back. It’s perfect for that and super handy but battery runs out way too quickly on the higher mode.

  A great product!

  This cordless stick vacuum is very powerful, and does a really good job even though I have carpets and a dog. I love it because it’s so easy to use- not like the barrel vacuum cleaners which are hard on my back. Also easy to store. This is my second Dyson V8- just perfect for my needs.
