Dangerous Pouring Spout
As owners of previous models of this high-end kettle, we are quite disappointed with this latest model. 1. The new design spout on this kettle is quite wide and shaped differently to its predecessors. Water comes out very quickly and splashes unless you pour extra slowly. It is therefore hard to control the pouring rate. 2. It is a very heavy kettle, much heavier than its predecessors. Anyone with arthritis or weak wrists would really struggle with the weight of this kettle. 3. You have to press the button twice to get the kettle to boil. Once to wake the control board up and then a second time to start the boiling process. For a high end Breville Kettle that costs $280.00 we are extremely disappointed with how dangerous it is and expected a much safer and more user-friendly appliance.

I wanted the best. It doesn't have anything weird to it, just a beautiful kettle. pours easily, no weird stems in it. It can keep warm and heat to various presets. I'm happy.
