This is a tiny spaceship of a toaster.
, also a good feature. I thought the beep might be annoying, but its not. But loud enough to hear. the toasting is even. it's a little bit more temperamental with the crumpet mode, you have to remember to turn it down a bit for bagels. So far so good.

Great-looking toaster works consistently
I’ve been using the Breville The Smart Toast 2 Slice for a while now, and it has made breakfast easier. The design is sleek and modern, and it feels solidly built—very typical of Breville’s quality. The toasting browns bread evenly and the “Lift & Look” and “A Bit More” functions are useful—they give you extra control without restarting the whole cycle. It also heats up quickly and stays consistent, so no more guessing or burning toast. Cleaning is simple with the removable crumb tray but you still need to do it frequently and a bit careful, and I guess this is the area needs further design improvement in future models. Overall, if you want a stylish and user-friendly toaster, it is a good choice.

Good consistent toasting.
This is my second unit, first lasted around 7 years. It toasts with consistency, and if you use the additional feature buttons you rarely have to change the timing adjustment (eg, frozen, fruit bread, a little bit more buttons). Would recommend.

Best Toaster Ever
I didn’t want to pay so much for a new toaster but so glad I did! This Smart toaster cooks everything to perfection with the crumpet and raisin toast feature as a fabulous addition to just toast. We eat a lot of toasted products and the ease of this toaster is amazing. I can highly recommend paying just a bit more for getting perfectly toasted products.
