The Shark cleans up
This vacuum cleaner definitely picks up dirt, dog hair, sand and cleans our carpet and tile floors! I would recommend the Shark unless you are looking for something light weight and not for stairs. It is a heavy vacuum cleaner but does a good job for our single storey house.

I have pets who shed lots of fur and this vacuum is excellent. Great size bucket and even better that its a self cleaning brush, nothing gets wound around it. Great price for such an excellent machine I was dubious to start with but would highly recommend.

Pet Hair & Dirt Be Gone! New Carpets Be Mine!
I was SO impressed with this vacuum cleaner- we were considering replacing our carpets before selling our house, but I decided to buy this vacuum cleaner instead and WOW was I impressed! We have a fluffy cat and none of our previous vacuum cleaners ever properly got out all the hairs, but once we used this vacuum cleaner, the amount of cat hair, dust and dirt that came out of what we thought were 'clean' carpets and a rug was insane!! It was so satisfying (and disgusting) seeing how much came out of our carpets and the rug, but our carpets and the rug honestly look like new again! The vacuum cleaner is very heavy, so I was quite worried about that and I would warn that if you have a bad back/shoulders, this isn't the vacuum for you, but if you're up for a slight workout if doing multiple carpeted rooms/rugs at a time, it is absolutely worth the investment to make them look like new again!
