Started ok now trips the power

Good Leak Control, Mixed Results
I have been using this iron for about two months. Overall, it is an okay product with some clear strengths. The biggest positive for me is that I have not experienced any major water leaks during ironing. This was important after having bad experiences with both the Braun CareStyle 7 and 9 series, as well as the 2 Tefal FV8062 Puregliss Steam Irons. The iron performs well on most types of clothing, but I have not been particularly happy with the ironing results on cotton garments. It works much better on other fabrics. I have also noticed a slightly quirky plastic sound while using it, and the water-tank opening lid does not feel as strong or robust as the one on the Philips 6000 Series or some other irons. I prefer the overall build quality of the Philips 6000 Series, but I purchased this model specifically because of the improved water-leak management feature mentioned in the specifications. After two months of use, that feature remains the main reason I am reasonably satisfied with the product, although the cotton-ironing performance and water-tank lid could be improved.
