How to choose a Westinghouse kitchen appliance?
Choosing the right Westinghouse kitchen appliance for your home is all about balancing your lifestyle, budget and kitchen layout with the features that you know will make daily life easier. Follow these steps to help find your perfect Westinghouse kitchen companion:
Consider your kitchen space: Start by measuring your bench space or cabinetry cutouts so you know what your kitchen can accommodate. Tight on space? Consider a multi-function oven like a 60cm Westinghouse oven with steam and AirFry features or a compact top-mount Westinghouse fridge.
Choose your preferred tech: Do you want the heat control of a gas cooktop, the safety of induction or the budget-friendly price tag of ceramic? By offering multiple tech options for each appliance category – like French door, bottom mount and side-by-side fridges – Westinghouse makes choosing easy.
Pick your must-have features: Once the big decisions are made, it’s time to consider which features would make home life easier for you. Do you want your Westinghouse cooktop and rangehood to work together with Hob2Hood technology? Maybe an auto-cleaning pyrolytic oven or a fridge with a FlexSpace convertible drawer is more your speed.

Westinghouse Cooking FAQs
Bringing home a brand new Westinghouse oven is an exciting time, but there are a few things you need to do before you can get to cooking:
Remove all internal boxes, shelves, and protective packaging materials.
Wipe the interior cavity with warm, soapy water and leave the door open until dry.
Follow the steps on the oven door label to register your appliance warranty.
Review your model's user guide to understand the manual control settings.
Keep in mind that most Westinghouse ovens will require professional installation, which can be organised through The Good Guys Home Services Team.
Hob2Hood is an integrated infrared system that links a Westinghouse induction cooktop to a compatible Westinghouse rangehood. When the cooktop is turned on, it sends a wireless signal to activate the rangehood fan and overhead lights, automatically adjusting the extraction speed based on the number of cooking zones used.
A Westinghouse oven with Air Fryer Mode is perfect for cooking crispy snacks and meals with less oil. We recommend pre-heating your oven to 180–200°C for approximately 15 minutes, then simply place your chips in a single layer on the dedicated Westinghouse mesh AirFry tray. This allows for maximum hot air circulation and results in even cooking without the need to flip.
Yes, Westinghouse ovens should be able to cook without setting an active timer, however depending on the model, you may need to switch your oven to manual mode first. Then simply turn the function knob to your desired cooking mode and adjust the temperature dial to begin cooking immediately.
