Old model was better
I purchased this to replace a broken Barista Express that I had for 5 years and been told this is way better model. My experience so far is that, the old one better. Pro has nice features such as timer, better grinder and steamer but lacks the pressure gauge. This is very important for quick adjustment of the grind and also understanding how the pressure is changing during the brew. Also, the pressure on this model seems to be less than the Barista Express, not sure why. Overall, with additional cost you have to pay for this, I would not recommend this. Express from my experience is still the winner.

Great design, looks sleek, great coffee at home
I’m so impressed by the useful, sleek design of this machine. It’s easy to use and looks nice on the bench. It’s been quite the education to perfect our espresso but it’s become quite the hobby. So glad we can have a yummy coffee at home now. It’s saving us a fortune.

Looks fantastic for home machine
The machine itself is fantastic. Heating milk is fantastic, as you have total control over the temperature and texture. I also own a Delonghi Prima Dona Soul, fully automatic machine, but much prefer coffee from this one because I can heat my own milk. (Not to mention a third of the price). It is a little loud and handles are tight to get in. However, for the price, fantastic machine. I'd have given the machine a five-star, if we did not have so much trouble finding the correct grind and extraction time.
