You do have to keep it wiped down otherwise it looks dirty, but I love it. I feel stainless you maybe able to get away with more.

Hot water spout not hot enough
The water that comes out of the hot water spout isnt hot enough. It comes out warm enough to chug or skull your cuppa but its not hot enough if you add a dash of milk to your long black or tea. The White Sea Salt colour is ok but I wouldnt have chosen it if I knew it was a Matt finish. This makes it look cheap and easy to get dirty. I was hoping for a e we hire gloss finish. Coffee side of things seems to work ok at this stage.

Hot water spout not hot enough. Finish is matte, not glossy
We like long blacks. The hot water spout for a long black, tea, hot chocolate etc works fine but isnt hot enough. After putting in a dash of milk it ends up being warm enough to skull your coffee which isnt ideal. I contacted breville about it. They said the temperature control knob which is to control the shot temperatures at the group head also controls the temperature for the hot water spout. I have it at max & my thermometer read 70c. I guess Ill have to use a kettle for the hot water. Also, be aware the white colour is a matte finish and not glossy which was a surprise to me. If I had of known that I wouldnt have picked the white as its really easy to get dirty & not as easy or nice to clean as a glossy unit in my opinion. Coffee part of the unit seems to work ok after some testing & tweaking which is the main thing.
