Stylish Kitchen Appliance
I only received this product just over a week ago so in doing this review, its based on where I am at now with the product. I can see that as my experience grows and I learn more about the Tefal Companion, it has tremendous potential. There is a lot to like in how this product looks. Colour scheme and design is really appealing and looks great in the kitchen. Its quiet when its operating and the family size bowl is terrific. There are some improvement opportunities as well. For me, cooking is a lot about confidence and when trying a new device, it is a bit disappointing when you follow a recipe in the book provided and it doesn't meet your expectations. With the Companion XL recipes, I've now tried 3 of these and all three had a few issues. In saying that this appliance replaces a Food Processor, maybe that is the case if you only use a chopping blade. In our home, we frequently use the grating blade, julienne blade and slicing blade so it would be great if the Companion came with these blades as well. None of the blades provided seem to offer this functionality.

DONT KNOW HOW I LIVED WITHOUT IT!!!!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Thermo cooker. I have only had it a short time but have made beautiful PERFECT risotto three times, as well as a beef stew, steamed stuffed chicken breasts and apricot chicken, I also converted one of my favourite bacon and potato soup recipe in it as well. It is just like magic, almost . The large bowl cooking capacity is perfect for a family and is so versatile. My daughter loves that she doesnt have to chop onion anymore as the I Companion XL does it for you. I am so excited about all the things I want to cook in this machine. Oh and it is oh so quiet too. It has reignited my love of cooking. Cant wait to try the sticky date pudding. I would highly recommend this product if you are interested in a Thermo cooking system.

Very safe
Made pastry dough and bread dough and it's fantastic. The only negative I have is that when adding wine to recipes it doesn't get cooked out so I won't be adding wine at all.
