The features that prompted me to purchase this product are the size, the all-around heating, the glossy finish of the bowl, ease of cleaning and especially the tender meat you get from the even heat of this product. I have had other slow cookers with metal bowls which don't heat evenly, finishing up with a very undesired result. This product pleases me greatly.
