Don’t buy a TCL TV from The Good Guys.
We bought an 85 inch QLED TV from The Good Guys (TGG) on-line store which was doing a good deal (October 2024). It arrived just over a week later and when first switched on it had a fault with the display panel. We immediately put in a fault request form to TGG requesting a replacement unit and/or a full refund as is mandated by Australian Consumer Law. Over the next week or so we were constantly being asked for further information from the manufacturer TCL which we happily provided. They eventually came back saying they would not replace the faulty TV. We did not buy the TV from TCL… we bought it from TGG who continue to say their hands are tied because TCL will not send a replacement. Australian Consumer Law is very clear on what should happen in our situation. TGG should offer a replacement or full refund for any product that has a major fault. A faulty display panel certainly falls into this category. Please see this as a warning to all buyers purchasing such things as large screen TV (especially TCL) in this case, as any products with faults may well not be honored by either TGG and/or TCL and comply with Australian Consumer Law. This was the first time we bought anything significant from TGG and was also our first time to by a TCL product (we usually buy LG or Samsung). Never again …

Excellent TV, well priced and super easy to buy online. Easy to install and set up. Delivered the next day which was Sunday. The delivery guys had to carry up a massive hill - they were legends. Whole process was seamless.
