The Good Guys Kitchen Giveaway 2023 (“Competition”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The Promoter of the Competition is The Good Guys Discount Warehouses (Australia) Pty Ltd, ABN 48 004 880 657, of 60 City Road Southbank, VIC 3006. Authorised under: NSW TP/00860; ACT TP 23/01298; SA T23/997.
  2. By submitting an entry to the Competition “you” acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
  3. The prize is valued at $43,000 AUD, consisting of:
    • four (4) amounts of The Good Guys StoreCash each in the amount of $5,000 (“StoreCash Prize”). The four instalments of The Good Guys StoreCash can each only be used in a single transaction, and will each have an expiry date of one (1) year from the date it is deposited to the Digital Wallet ;
    • the winner’s choice of one (1) Kinsman Kitchens kitchen from any Kinsman Range up to the value of $20,000 AUD which will include cabinetry, kitchen accessories and a laminate benchtop, design and delivery (“Renovation Prize”); and
    • one (1) Digital Visa Card in the amount of $3,000 (“Digital Visa Card Prize”), (together the “Prize”).
  4. To be eligible to win the Competition participants must:
    • enter the Competition at https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/home-renovation-ideas between 12:00am AEST 1/09/2023 and 11:59pm AEST 31/10/2023 by providing their full name, valid email address and mobile number in the sign-up form;
    • sign up to StoreCash and download The Good Guys Digital Wallet onto their smartphones (if they did not already have one previously);
    • keep the Digital Wallet downloaded on their smartphone until the StoreCash Prize is drawn and issued for prize fulfilment purposes; and
    • own the home intended for installation of the Renovation Prize.
  5. The Good Guys’ Digital Wallet is available by signing up at https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/storecash/wallet-sign-up and is subject to terms and conditions available at https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/storecash/wallet-terms-and-conditions.   6. One (1) winner will be randomly drawn at the end of the Competition period. Winner will be drawn on 02/11/2023, 3pm ADST at 60 City Road Southbank, VIC 3006 and is subject to Kinsman Kitchens verifying that the winner fulfills the requirements of these Terms and Conditions.
  7. If the winner does not satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions the entire Prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be drawn randomly drawn on 08/11/2023, 3pm ADST at 60 City Road Southbank, VIC 3006. If this subsequent winner does not satisfy all Terms and Conditions of this Competition no additional redraws will be conducted and the Prize will be forfeited.
  8. The Prize does not include the following which will be at the expense of the winner:
    • any other additional kitchen products ie. kitchen lighting, glass splashbacks, tile, flooring, gas, electricity, water connections and any costs installation costs;
    • any trade works or construction, electrical, tiling, or plumbing services;
    • any ongoing costs associated with installing and/or using the Prize other than as detailed and which are the entire responsibility of the winner.
  9. The Renovation Prize must be redeemed and installed in full by 30/06/2024.
  10. The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Cash will not be awarded in lieu of any component.
  11. If the winner’s address for installation of the Renovation Prize is not within the eligible service area for the Kinsman Designer Range (eligible service areas can be checked at https://kinsman.com.au/showrooms/delivery-areas/) the Renovation Prize will be the Kinsman Kitchen Xpress Range cabinetry, which includes kitchen accessories, a laminate benchtop, design and delivery up to the value of $20,000, instead of the Kinsman Kitchen Designer Range.
  12. Participation in this Competition is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.
  13. Employees of the JB Hi-Fi Group and Kinsman Kitchen and their immediate families and agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter.
  14. The winner will be notified by email using the email registered to the winner’s Digital Wallet within five (5) business days of the draw. The StoreCash Prize will be deposited to the winner’s The Good Guys Digital Wallet within five (5) business days of verification of the winner.
  15. The Promoter will provide the winner with the Digital Visa to the winner’s email address that is registered to their Digital Wallet within seven (7) business days of verification of the winner.
  16. The StoreCash Prize will expire 1 year from the date it is deposited to your Digital Wallet.
  17. The Digital Visa Card Prize is issued by Flexewallet Pty Ltd ABN 16 164 657 032 and will expire 1 year from the date of being issued and is subject to the terms and conditions at https://truerewards.com.au/terms-and-conditions.
  18. The Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Digital Visa Card Prize with an alternative prize to the equal value.
  19. Kinsman Kitchens will contact the winner within five (5) business days of the verification to the winner to organise the Renovation Prize.
  20. The winner’s details will be published on the Promoter’s website within five (5) business days of the draw and will be displayed on the website for a minimum of 28 days.
  21. The Promoter reserve the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence).
  22. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  23. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) shall incur no liability (including due to negligence), for any personal injury, or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential to any person or property, arising in any way out of the Competition.
  24. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
  25. The Promoter’s privacy policy is available on The Good Guys’ website at https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/privacy-policy and contains information about how the Promotor will handle your personal information, and other information required to be disclosed to you under the Privacy Act. You should read this policy before providing any personal information to the Promoter. By supplying the Promoter with your personal information for this Promotion, you have given the Promoter permission to communicate to you via mail, e-mail, SMS, MMS, Facebook, Twitter and telephone to inform you about our products and services.
