Great little machine
Seem to have a fair amount of power, removed a stain on rug from the dog quite quickly. Plan to clean the lounge when we get some warmer weather. Got this as we were quoted $750 to do a lounge and 4 chairs.

Excellent Cleaning Power with Minor Ergonomic Caveats
The Bissell SpotClean Turbo 3911F is one of the most effective portable carpet and upholstery washers in its class. Built around a robust 420W motor, it directly resolves the two biggest complaints of older spot cleaners: weak suction and deafening motor noise. While minor ergonomic trade-offs keep it just shy of absolute perfection, its extraction power and post-cleaning convenience make it a standout choice for households with pets, children, or detailed vehicle interiors.

Impressive power for a little machine!
I bought this as a gift for a family member who has pets, and they absolutely love it. It does leave the fabric slightly damp but dries perfectly overnight.

Does the job amazingly well
We purchased this product as our aging dog was leaving little spots on the carpet. It really works well in removing and sanitising small spots . I doubt that it could handle the clean up if a dog emptied its bladder.

At a glance
The Bissell SpotClean Turbo is a portable carpet and upholstery cleaner designed for quick spot cleaning around the home and in cars. It suits pet owners, families and anyone dealing with frequent spills, with helpful tools and compact storage. Its main strength is convenience for small messes and tight spaces, but it is not the best choice for cleaning large carpeted areas end to end.

- Spot cleaning
- Pet messes
- Upholstery cleaning
- Stair cleaning
- Car interior cleaning
- Quick spill clean-ups
Where it works best
- Homes

Who it’s for

- Families with children
- Car owners
- Renters
- Homeowners needing quick clean-ups
Things to consider
This portable unit is better for targeted stains and smaller zones than whole-room carpet washing, so larger homes may prefer a full-size cleaner with wider coverage.
Pet stain removal score
8/10 - well suited to pet stains and odours with included sample formulas and a tough stain tool.
Large area suitability
Best for small to medium spot-cleaning jobs rather than full-room carpet washing.
Ease of use
8/10 - portable format, targeted tools and optional wheels make it straightforward for quick clean-ups.
Drying time rating
7/10 - targeted spot cleaning helps avoid soaking large areas, though drying speed will still depend on fabric type and how much solution is used.
Key benefits
- Portable Spot Cleaner Design: Easy to carry to spills, stairs and car interiors without moving a full-size carpet washer.
- 1.9 L Clean Water Tank: Holds enough solution for small-area cleaning sessions before needing a refill.
- 1.4 L Dirty Water Tank: Separates recovered dirty water for cleaner handling during and after use.
- Self-Cleaning Tough Stain Tool: Helps tackle stubborn marks and simplifies tool rinsing after messy jobs.
- 3-in-1 Tool: Gives extra versatility for cleaning crevices, upholstery and different spot-cleaning tasks.
- 420 W Motor: Provides powered suction and washing performance suited to regular spot and stain cleaning.
- 4.5 m Power Cord: Offers a useful working reach between nearby rooms and around furniture.
- Optional Castor Wheels: Makes the cleaner easier to roll during longer sessions, especially when the tanks are full.
Q: Is this suitable for cleaning a whole house of carpet?
A: No. The SpotClean Turbo is built for targeted jobs like spills, stairs, rugs, upholstery and car interiors, not full-room carpet washing. Its portable format and separate 1.9L clean and 1.4L dirty tanks suit smaller areas best.
Q: How well does it work on car seats and floor mats?
A: Yes. The SpotClean Turbo is well suited to car seats, footwells and mats because the main unit is portable and the 4.5m cord gives practical reach around the vehicle. It is designed for detail cleaning, not washing an entire car interior in one pass.
Q: Will it leave carpets or upholstery soaking wet after cleaning?
A: No. The SpotClean Turbo sprays and extracts in the same cleaning pass, so treated areas should come up damp rather than saturated. Drying time still varies with the fabric, the stain treatment used and how much solution is applied.
Q: What tools are included for stains and tight spaces?
A: The SpotClean Turbo includes a self-cleaning tough stain tool, a 3-in-1 tool, and sample formulas for pet stains and odours. That gives it better reach on upholstery seams, stairs and crevices than a single wide cleaning head.
Q: Can I move it easily when the tanks are full?
A: Yes. The SpotClean Turbo is a portable cleaner, and optional castor wheels can make it easier to roll during longer sessions when the tanks are heavier. Without wheels fitted, it may be more practical to carry it between spots.
Q: Is the motor strong enough for old or set-in stains?
A: It can handle many everyday and deeper spot stains with its 420W motor and tough stain tool, especially on carpets and upholstery. It is still a spot cleaner, so large, heavily soiled areas may need repeated passes rather than one quick clean.
