  Very easy to use – left my carpet and lounge clean and smelling fresh. Cleaning the machine afterward was also simple. However, if you have a fluffy-style carpet, I’d recommend avoiding the brush, as it can cause the carpet to fluff up. In that case, using the steam-only function is a better option.

  Great product

  This works really well. No more calling the carpet cleaner, you can easily do it yourself with this machine. Easy to use, solutions work really well & it dries the carpets pretty good. We have cleaned the carpets through winter so it took a bit longer (24hrs) before we could walk on them. We have pets and it brought the carpets up like they were new.

  Well built and cleans well

  I had my son vomit on his bedroom carpet and was not sure if I'd be able to get it clean and rid of the smell. But this unit was great. Very easy to use and was able to get it set up and going in no time. I did go a bit heavy with the liquid use on the carpet as I wanted a proper clean so I did have to use 2 fills for the task. I am also pretty excited to use the hand held upholstery tool and hose that came with it to clean other things when the weather gets warmer. The steam functionality was part of the reason why I chose this unit as I feel it helps lift stains for easier clean. The carpet did remain a little wet due to more liquid used as expected but again, the steam feature does help to dry it somewhat. The unit is bulky and will need a storage location which fortunately we have a spot. Great unit if you have budget to spend a bit more to get good quality.

  Works great on light coloured carpets

  When I built my house, I didn’t have a baby—so I chose a light beige carpet. Fast forward to life with a toddler, and let’s just say messes are a daily occurrence. The Bissell Revolution HydroSteam has been a lifesaver. No matter what kind of mess she makes, this machine has managed to remove every stain with ease. It’s powerful, effective, and has saved me from a lot of stress. That said, there’s one design miss worth mentioning: the hose extension for upholstery doesn’t have a steam function. This is a bit of a letdown, especially since the Bissell SpotClean HydroSteam does include steam from the hose. Still, aside from that one drawback, this machine works like a charm and delivers excellent results every time.
