Good for the job
3 bed plus hallway for 1 tank. Tank is really dirty after use so I would think that it picked up a lot of dirt from the carpet! It gives the peace of mind knowing that the carpets are cleaner than before. Blasted the room fans at number 6 and the room was dry in an hour. Quite pricey and bulky so 1 star less

Absolutely LOVING my new Bissell Carpet cleaner. My carpets and rugs have never looked so bright. The machines is very easy to use and instructions easy to understand. Watching the dirty water suck into the machine is so satisfying and only took about 12 hours to completely dry. It's not back breaking work as the machine is easy to use and glides well over all types of carpet. I kept looking for more things to clean so started using the attachment on my bedhead and was shocked at how much grit came out of it. I grabbed this when there was a sale, so if you have a pet - or not, this machine is well worth the money spent. Your sparkling new house and your feet will thank you for it.

Better than I expected
This carpet shampooer was easy to assemble, easy to fill with water and the relevant chemicals ,and it sucked up the cleaning water pretty well which meant that the carpet was really clean. I did use the recommended pre stain and the oxyaction solution samples that were provided ( I have since been back into the store and purchased the normal sized bottles of solutions).The carpet was dry sooner than I expected . Overall, I am really pleased with my purchase as it was not the most expensive cleaning unit available.
