Unfortunately our initial experience of the Sharp microwave was a bit of a disaster. The microwave seemed to be having trouble keeping the power up while cooking then one night it started flickering and buzzing and I lost power to my Rangehood and frying pan. This happened twice on the one night so I immediately unplugged it. Upon calling The Good Guys where I had purchased it they said to take it back in. They immediately swapped it for another of the same model. So far so good. A couple of changed functions but otherwise much the same as our previous Sharp Microwaves. Compact but with 1200watts of power. Must have been a lemon - still a Sharp follower.

Powerful and easy to use
Mainly bought it because I had the earlier version which worked really well and lasted a long time. This model seems even more powerful even though it has the same power rating but this models timer increases in intervals of 30 seconds where as my old model increased in intervals of one minute. Very happy so far.
