1200w makes such a difference, I've had the same brand before and glad to have it again. I tried a flatbed, but prefer the turntable style as I feel it heats and defrosts more evenly.

VERY PRACTICAL AND USEFUL EVERYDAY FEATURES
The Sharp 34 Litre Inverter Microwave is a marvellous addition to our kitchen. I chose it to replace a tired old microwave which failed suddenly. I especially like the START button on the lower right hand side which heats for increments of 30 seconds. This is a quick and easy way to reheat something in a hurry. So for 1 minute I just press it twice and away she goes. If I only want to heat up a warm cup of tea or coffee which has been left for a bit, I might just select, say, 18 seconds on the number pad and this can be exactly the time I want. Too much automation isn't helpful, so the number pad gives me more options. I love this microwave.
