Great little radio
I could have really done with this radio during the recent Cyclone Alfred when I could not receive the cyclone alerts being broadcast over the radio. With no power and no internet I was left in limbo. This radio solves that problem for any future emergency situation.

Portable AM/FM radio
This radio does an adequate job of providing radio coverage some of the time. It is very sensitive to direction i.e. it works best when facing in a particular direction. An ancient car radio belonging to my father (radio more than 50 years old) had superior ability to pick up radio stations.
