At a glance
The LG A9X-AUTO2 is a cordless stick vacuum designed for everyday cleaning across carpets and hard floors, with a freestanding All-in-One Tower that suits homes where wall mounting is not practical. It is a good fit for households wanting easy handling, adjustable reach and simple storage. Key strengths are its versatile floor cleaning, lightweight design and Auto Stop and Go feature. The main limitation is its 30-minute run time and 0.5 L bin, which may feel modest for larger homes.

Things to consider
Compared with more premium or specialist stick vacuums, the 30-minute run time and 0.5 L dust bin may be less suitable for long whole-home cleans or heavier debris loads.
Pet hair performance score
6/10 - suitable for everyday pickup on floors and rugs, but no dedicated pet hair tool or specialist pet-focused features are specified.
Carpet vs hard floor suitability
Well suited to mixed flooring, including carpets, rugs, hard floors and tiles, with one versatile floor nozzle.
Portability rating
8/10 - lightweight cordless design and adjustable length make it easy to move around the home.
Noise level vs category average
Not specified - no clear noise advantage over the category average can be confirmed from the provided details.
Allergy friendliness
7/10 - the 5-step filtration system helps capture dust and particles, though no sealed-system or HEPA claim is specified.
Key benefits
- Versatile Floor Nozzle: Cleans carpets, rugs, hard floors and tiles without needing to swap heads between surfaces.
- All-in-One Tower: Provides freestanding charging and tidy storage, making it practical for homes where wall mounting is not ideal.
- Lightweight Build: Easier to carry, steer and use around the home for quick daily cleaning.
- Adjustable Length: Helps users set a more comfortable working height for better reach and easier manoeuvring.
- 5-Step Filtration System: Captures dust and fine particles to help keep discharged air cleaner during vacuuming.
- Bagless 0.5 L Bin: Gives enough capacity for everyday cleaning while keeping emptying simple.
- Up to 30 Minutes Run Time: Supports shorter routine cleans in normal mode on a full battery charge.
- Auto Stop and Go: Pauses suction when the vacuum is stationary and restarts when lifted, helping extend the stated battery run time of up to 30 minutes.
Q: Can this LG stick vacuum replace a full whole-home vacuum?
A: No. LG A9X-AUTO2 is better suited to routine floor cleaning than long deep-cleaning sessions, with up to 30 minutes in normal mode and a 0.5L bin. Larger homes may need a recharge and more frequent bin emptying before the job is finished.
Q: Do I need to wall mount the All-in-One Tower?
A: No. The All-in-One Tower is free-standing, so the vacuum can be docked and stored without drilling into a wall. That makes it a practical option for homes where wall mounting is not suitable or where you want more flexibility on placement.
Q: How does Auto Stop and Go work in daily use?
A: Auto Stop and Go pauses suction when the vacuum is left still, then restarts when it is lifted again. That helps avoid wasting battery during short interruptions, but runtime is still up to 30 minutes in normal mode rather than for extended whole-home cleans.
Q: Is it good for both carpet and hard floors?
A: Yes. LG A9X-AUTO2 is designed for carpets, rugs, hard floors and tiles with one versatile floor nozzle, so common surface changes are simpler. It is aimed at mixed-floor everyday cleaning rather than specialist cleaning for one surface type only.
Q: What homes is the 0.5L bin best suited to?
A: The 0.5L bagless bin is a practical size for everyday room-to-room cleaning, especially in apartments and small to medium homes. For heavier debris or longer sessions, it will need emptying sooner than a larger vacuum designed for bigger clean-ups.
Q: Will the adjustable length suit different user heights?
A: Yes. The adjustable length helps set a more comfortable cleaning height, and the lightweight build makes the vacuum easier to manoeuvre for a wider range of users. It is still designed for regular cordless cleaning rather than long intensive sessions.
