A big upgrade from our pod machine
The coffee machine is great - we’ve been using it for a few weeks now and have pretty much stopped getting take away coffees. It can be a bit tricky to set up/get used to: - The coffee grind settings: takes some trial and error to get it right; if you haven’t set it up correctly, you’ll end up with a few drops of espresso instead of a full shot. This also matters if you change beans, as the settings need to be tweaked again. - The milk frother: will take some practice to get that barista style milk going. But other than that, the coffee ends up quite delicious and the machine is very easy to keep clean as well. Highly recommend!

Absolute piece of rubbish
I had previous Barrista Express for 9 years, never missed a beat. This new one has terrible build quality, the flow meter doesn’t work (the coffee pour keeps going and going) and generally is terrible. Now I have to face the prospect of arguing with The Good Guys or Breville.. Rang Breville, they want to ‘send it away’., were no help at all. Called the Good Guys, got a recorded message saying bring it in. What front out the counter with a coffee machine in a box and try and explain glow metering and have no coffee for weeks while it is sent off somewhere.? machine is only 7 weeks old. I deeply regret buying this machine.
