Gets the carpets clean
I purchased this to replace an aging smaller carpet cleaner. While Hoover power scrub is a bit on the heavy side, I feel that this helps it get a better clean. Basically the cleaner only has back wheels, so when you push it, the head goes down and really works into the carpet pile. The large capacity water tanks have let me do whole rooms without re filling, and it seems to remove most of the water. After using the power scrub in the morning, my carpets have been dry by the evening.

Have wanted to buy a carpet washer for years but didn't until....
I have read all the reviews of carpet washers over the past 10 years and the reviews had convinced me not to buy one. Thank you to those who had purchased and reviewed the Hoover PowerScrub XL because it is excellent, easy to operate, easy to clean, and a faultless light-weight easy-to-manoeuvre machine. It also does not leave the carpets feeling wet or sodden, although the dirt-quality of the 'used' water is testament to the power and depth of the carpet scrub-carpet clean. It is as good as described and surprisingly, even far better than the reviews. I cannot believe my good fortune to have this; and it will certainly save me a fortune in contracted carpet-cleaning costs.

Clean at last.
I was so excited while I waited for my Hoover carpet shampoo machine. But when I used it for the first time it was like a little miracle, I knew my carpet was dirty but the amount of grime that the machine sucked out of my carpet was just embarrassing. The carpet looks like it’s new and it smells so fresh. The Hoover carpet cleaner is the best investment I’ve ever made and I recommend it highly. 🥰
