Finally perfect coffee at home!
Really happy with my coffee machine so far. Minimal fussy buttons, but plenty of options for different sized coffees and milk heat/froth. First at home coffee machine that makes my coffee hot enough. Easy to clean and maintain. No heat up time which is great when you're trying to get out of the door in a hurry! The Nespresso rep onsite when I picked it up was also great, very friendly and helpful. Also happy that it is so easy to recycle old pods.

Love this coffee machine
I debated whether to buy this after years with an original machine and various frothers. I like the Vertuo capsules better, but the best thing is the consistent froth and ability to make milk hotter. Only minor issue is some water accumulates under the spill tray, but not a leak as others described it. Have to ensure to empty tray regularly.

Excellent coffee at a touch
This is our second one. Very happy with them. We tried to set it up by WiFi through the Internet but couldn’t. In frustration we rang the Nespresso Help Line to be told we didn’t need all that. Just press the button and go (after we had rinsed it as instructed). Why couldn’t they just say that in the instructions. Anyhow it was all a happy ending and we enjoy trying all the different pods and recycle them by dropping them back to our local Good Guys where they have a recycle bin. We descale it about every 3-6 months and order coffee on line. We have had numerous coffee making systems and find this the best. The milk frother is easy but we don’t use it much.

Amazing coffee machine
I have had a lot of coffee machines, but this is by far the easiest cleanest most space saving machine yet. Not to forget the best Crema and texture of the milk surpasses any previous machine.

Awesome coffee machine
Absolutely the best decision we made when buyi g a ciffee machine . This one does everything, you set your coffer strength and your milk texture and it pours the coffee and froths the milk. The only decision you have to make is what flavour coffee you will have. .

At a glance
The Nespresso Vertuo Creatista is a premium capsule coffee machine for households that want both black coffee and milk-based drinks with minimal fuss. Its strengths are automatic milk texturing, multiple cup sizes, and connected features, plus a 2 L water tank for repeated use. One limitation is that it only works with Nespresso Vertuo capsules, so capsule choice is more restricted than broader pod systems.
What it’s great for
- Everyday Coffee
- Milk-Based Drinks
- Black Coffee
- Entertaining at Home
- Busy Morning Routines
Where it works best
- Home Kitchen
- Family Kitchen
- Apartment Kitchen
- Entertaining Space
Who it’s for
- Coffee Lover
- Busy Household
- Milk Coffee Drinker
- Black Coffee Drinker
- Convenience-Focused User
Things to consider
It is limited to Nespresso Vertuo capsules, so it offers less capsule flexibility than machines designed for multiple pod formats or fresh-bean coffee.
Quick coffee suitability
9/10 - capsule brewing, automatic milk texturing, and 1500 W power make it well suited to fast daily coffee.
Variety of capsule compatibility
Nespresso Vertuo capsules only
Ease of use score
9/10 - simple capsule operation, automatic steam wand, and connected features keep day-to-day use straightforward.
Cleaning convenience
8/10 - capsule system reduces mess, and the used pod container and steam wand cleaning tool help simplify upkeep.
Compact kitchen fit
7/10 - practical for most kitchens, though the 2 L water tank and milk-texturing setup mean it is not the smallest option.
Key benefits
- Nespresso Vertuo capsule system: Delivers simple, mess-reduced brewing with capsule-based convenience.
- Integrated steam wand: Automatically textures milk for flat whites, cappuccinos, and lattes at home.
- 3 milk temperature settings: Lets you tailor milk warmth to different drink styles and preferences.
- 3 milk texture settings: Helps create smoother or foamier milk for a wider range of café-style drinks.
- 2 L water tank: Supports multiple servings before needing a refill.
- Used capsule container: Holds up to 10 small capsules or 6 large capsules to reduce how often you need to empty it.
- 1500 W power: Supports quick heat-up and ready-to-brew convenience for daily use.
- Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity: Adds easy access to connected features and machine controls.
Q: Does it only work with Nespresso Vertuo capsules?
A: Only Nespresso Vertuo capsules are supported. This machine does not use Nespresso Original capsules, ground coffee or a built-in grinder, so capsule choice is tied to the Vertuo range rather than more open pod formats.
Q: Do I need WiFi or the app to make coffee?
A: No. The Vertuo Creatista can brew coffee directly from the machine, so Bluetooth and WiFi are optional rather than required for everyday use. Connectivity is mainly for access to extra features and updates, not basic drink making.
Q: Is the steam wand automatic for milk drinks?
A: Yes. The integrated steam wand textures milk automatically using three temperature settings and three texture settings, so it suits milk drinks without a separate frother. It uses the included stainless steel milk jug rather than a built-in milk tank.
Q: How often will I need to refill and empty it?
A: It is set up for multiple serves between stops. The water tank holds 2L, and the used capsule container takes 10 small capsules or 6 large ones, so several coffees can be made in a row before a refill or empty is usually needed.
Q: Can this machine grind beans as well?
A: No. The Vertuo Creatista is a capsule coffee machine and does not include a grinder for whole beans or a basket for ground coffee. It is designed around pre-portioned Vertuo capsules, which keeps prep simple but limits coffee format choice.
Q: Will it make cold brew coffee?
A: No. This model is not cold brew capable. It is designed for hot coffee extraction and milk texturing, so buyers wanting true cold brew preparation will need a machine with a dedicated cold brewing function rather than this one.
