I am pleased with the microwave and it took awhile to get accustomed to its operation. The unit is "very light in weight", which is disadvantage as I had to apply double sided tape to the feet, as the two rear feet were just pressed metal with no holding power, the front two feet were of plastic. After fitting the tape the microwave stayed on the bench as to open the door it requires a bit of a "tug". The other disadvantage of not having a "keypad time set" is that it has no 1 to 10 seconds selection, only 10 seconds increments even with the "slider control". It is easy to clean, cooks well and is faster than our old 800Watt with a larger interior which is great. I still recommend this microwave and hopefully it will serve me well for 10 + years. Lastly, I would love LG to have ALL 4 feet installed with rubber feet to hold it down to the bench.

Does what it says on the label
I needed a new microwave after my old one ended up getting a melted area on the door screen. I did a few days of research and landed on the LG Inverter. It's been great so far. Definitely faster and more even than the old one and my kids 11-15 have learnt how to use it in no time. I just had to tell them to start with shorter bursts; e.g. 2 minutes instead of 3 for a bowl of food coming out of the fridge. I find the extra features mostly pointless as I don't want to have to resort to the manual to work out which defrost sub-option I need to use etc. However, when I did resort to the manual it melted butter and defrosted some mince without issues.
