After my Panasonic not working properly after just over 2 years old. I opted to go the LG 42L 1200W NeoChef. I can gladly say it was a good switch. Quiet, cooks evenly and looks the part in the kitchen. The LED light inside the microwave is great. It will chime a couple of times if you haven't got your food out of the microwave which is a handy feature and the microwave goes into a cool down mode if you have had foods cook in there for a little while. Can rate and at this stage will buy again.

This is a replacement microwave…but we love it!! It looks awesome and performs really well. It does take a bit to get used to the plus and minus controls, but once you do, you’ll love them!!

Good enough to buy again
We previously bought one of these 5 years ago, and it was good enough to buy it again after we went through the features we needed and the size of the cavity above our oven. The sensor cook is something we use every day and the inverter defrost also regularly gets used. Negatives: the cheery 'I am done' ring gets really annoying really quickly. The old one broke after 5y5d which I felt was too short, but maybe I expect too much. The old one had a buttonless catch so you pull on a handle in the door, and this was so tight that I invariably pulled the microwave out and had to push back into the cavity. As we have too frequent power outages, the resetting the time requiring to be done first thing after power coming back on is annoying when the power point is at the back of the cavity (again maybe just my kitchen).
