    Ticks all my boxes

This computer has all the features my computer wizard told me to look for. I only use it for personal stuff as I am retired. Love the white keyboard (can see it) and the speed. My previous computer would not take windows 11 and was very slow.

excellent desk top for small family

hp computers have been around for awhile now , I only have one negative point about this model and that is there are no USB plugs on the side or underneath they are all on the back only, which makes it hard to plug in and out anything

Great size. Starts up quickly. Really impressed with the quality of the built in speakers as it is a thin all in one Computer & screen. Has more features than i will use.

Energy saving mode and great colour/ brightness quality speakers with lots of volume.

Things to consider

Compared with premium desktops or full-size towers, an all-in-one design is usually less flexible for future upgrades and is not the best fit for intensive gaming or specialist creative workloads.

Gaming suitability score

4/10 - Fine for casual and light games, but not aimed at demanding modern AAA gaming like a dedicated gaming desktop.

Home office fit

Excellent for day-to-day home office use, especially where a simple, tidy desk setup is preferred.

Student use suitability

8/10 - Strong option for assignments, research, online classes and general productivity, but less ideal if portability is needed.

Upgrade flexibility

Limited compared with tower desktops due to the compact all-in-one design.

Noise level vs category average

8/10 - Typically quieter than many full-size desktop towers under normal everyday workloads.

Key benefits

  • 24-inch all-in-one design: Combines the computer and display in one unit to keep desks cleaner and setup simpler.
  • Large display format: Gives you more room for documents, spreadsheets and side-by-side windows than a compact laptop screen.
  • Built for multitasking: Handles everyday workloads smoothly, making it easier to switch between email, browser tabs, office apps and video meetings.
  • Minimal cable clutter: Helps create a neater workspace with fewer separate components than a traditional desktop tower setup.
  • Suitable for shared household use: Works well as a central family PC for study, admin tasks, streaming and general web use.
  • Quick start-up and responsive storage: Helps the system feel snappy for everyday use, with fast loading for common files and applications.
  • Clean professional look: Fits naturally into home offices, reception areas and study spaces where appearance matters.
  • Space-saving footprint: A good choice for smaller desks or apartments where a separate monitor and tower would take up more room.

Q: Is the HP 24" Core Ultra 5 AIO suitable for everyday work and study?

A: Yes. An Intel Core Ultra 5 with 16GB RAM is well suited to web browsing, Microsoft 365, video calls, streaming and running several apps at once. It is a stronger fit for general multitasking than older entry-level all-in-one PCs with 8GB memory.

Q: How much can the 512GB SSD realistically hold on this HP all-in-one?

A: A 512GB SSD typically leaves roughly 400GB to 430GB usable after Windows and preinstalled software. That is enough for documents, photos and everyday apps, but large game libraries or lots of 4K video files will fill it much faster.

Q: What are the main advantages of choosing this 24-inch HP all-in-one over a desktop tower?

A: The main advantage is space saving. An all-in-one combines the PC and display in one unit, so there is less cable clutter and a cleaner setup on smaller desks, but it usually offers less flexibility for future upgrades than a separate tower.

Q: Is a 24-inch all-in-one a good size for a home office or study desk?

A: Yes. A 24-inch class screen is a practical size for home office use because it gives more viewing space than a laptop without dominating a smaller desk. It suits spreadsheets, documents and web work, though heavy multitaskers may prefer a larger display.

Q: Who should choose the 16GB version of this HP 24-inch AIO instead of an 8GB model?

A: Choose 16GB if you often keep many browser tabs open, switch between work apps, or join video meetings while other programs run in the background. It gives more headroom than 8GB and is better for smoother multitasking over the life of the PC.
