Does what the box say and makes slushies from drinks. Doesn't work with No Sugar drinks and orange stuff tends to leave annoying stains, but so far its been pretty good. So far I've found Turning down the temp to make it colder then the pre-set modes makes it smoother and more similar to what you get at Maccas or HJ's.
