  Decent microwave with a few quirks (and questionable lighting choices)

  This microwave is perfectly fine for the price, just don't expect it to cook your food and read you bedtime stories. It heats things up, which is really all I asked of it. Now, if you're someone who enjoys the oddly hypnotic pastime of watching food slowly spin in the microwave (you know who you are), you might be disappointed. The viewing window is tiny, and the internal light is more of a gentle glow than a spotlight. It’s like the microwave is trying to keep your dinner a mystery until the very end. Also, and this could very well be user error (I’m not proud), the touchpad is a bit fussy. You can’t just press “1” and then “0” to get 10 minutes. It beeps at you like you've deeply offended it. I’m sure the manual explains this, but... who actually reads those? All in all, it does what it’s supposed to do. Not perfect, but not bad either. A solid 4 stars from me, with bonus points for keeping my leftovers warm and my expectations humble.

  Great value for money

  I was very surprised by the microwave performance even though it wasn’t the most expensive model. Fast, efficient and the heat is distributed evenly. It delivers almost the same results as the more expensive models. Glad I chose it!
