Excellent design, but ….
This is a product with excellent design. We are very happy with it. In the physical sense, it saves floor space because the vacuum cleaner standa vertically. It is a good design because it is self supporting - there is no need to fix it to anything, which makes it excellent for those who are renting! The facility for electrical connection has been done very cleverly. Once assembled correctly, there is no need to move any cable or another electrical connection. Why the ‘but’ in the title then?? While assembling, I realised that one plastic part is NOT part of the box containing the parts for assembling the stand, but is rather part of the box which came with the vacuum cleaner! If you have bought the vacuum cleaner months back (as I did) and the stand later (as I did), you will need to find that one part from the older box! The assembly instructions of the stand don’t say anything. It took me half an hour to figure out. I hope you read my review before assembling yours! Other than this, excellent in every way!

Great project for my Dyson Stick Vacuum
Bought for my 2nd Dyson Stick vacuum cleaner and is brilliant!! Sturdy and durable, also can move it absolutely anywhere in the house without having to worry about where to put the mount part and drilling more holes in the wall. Highly recommended for everyone - especially if you’re renting a house or unit.

Works well
The Ezymount stand is easy to assemble and is just as stable as a genuine Dyson stand that we had for a previous Dyson vacuum. The salesman was not sure whether the charging cable would fit properly on the stand for a Dyson gen5 detect but it does fit very well. I recommend this product.
