This product is not quite as good as our previous model. It does not stand fully upright when folded away and there is no way to wind up the electrical cable for storage, but it cooks evenly and you are able to adjust the thickness. The cooking surface is large enough for 4 toasties to be completed at once, however you need to ensure that all are even and placed not too close to the rear. It does give a lovely ‘grilled’ surface on one side, provided you place additional butter/margarine on the outer surface of the toastie. We have only used it on sour dough bread, and it does cook all internal ingredients, even through the thick slices.
