Worked good, durability poor
Ours has carked it after 2.5 years (no heat). The non stick surface was breaking down a little after maybe 1.5 years. Don’t know what a better option is, but can’t say I’m happy. Also be aware heat distribution was not even although was ok if you just rotate your bread or sandwiches around. (Hottest in middle third). We had a breville before this and didn’t last any better. Good luck finding one that lasts.

Very quick even if the toast is frozen, it will be ready in less than 2 minutes. Height control arm is amazing as it prevents the sandwich being squished.

I originally wanted a sandwich toaster, but I saw this Sunbeam Grill Press, I use it for sandwich toasting & also grill steak, burgers, chicken breast, it has more cooking options than just toasting sandwiches. I am glad that I purchased this & I use it at least once a day. I recommend this Sunbeam grill press for toasting sandwiches & grilling meats.

large capacity, efficiency and quality
I've used this grill Sandwich press and very surprised with the outcome because of the speed it gets hot and produced nearly perfect grilled sandwiches that too 6 at a time. Perfect for serving hot paninis to guests and impress them. it it well built specially those hinges and hot plates and very easy to clean. even those cheese spill overs were easy to clean without scrubbing. i used it for grilling some vegetables and they turned out nicely cooked with perfect char marks. the look of those grill marks makes all the difference. overall very satisfied with the product.
